Infinity War 02:25
I don't see no ladder to heaven I don't see no staircase to climb and on Earth no path to follow I don't have a grasp on the time I wake up every morning to find the sun creepin', watchin' me like some sort of spy But all I want to catch in the morning is the infinite dark of the sky All the cars are speeding to somewhere All your planes are screaming routine And the wind don't seem to settle it's howlin' like a fine machine I stand on top of this building to find the moon speakin', tellin' me it's tryin' to hide If I could raise a home on its surface it'd be raised on the dark of its side

The Company 03:14
We were hidden within the Misty Mountains walking through the darkened mines The man with the staff in our company said, "That old chamber there beckons us nine" So we found a white tomb being lit by the shine The Lord of the mine had been done His kin bowed his head on the hilt of his axe as I looked to the well and heard nothin' but drums We gathered in shade right behind the King's palace miles from the Moria jam The Thane of Cawdor played the devil it's known we decided why not foil his plan So while trading some words about honor and war the Thane's cousin arrived on the scene I heard him say something 'bout family and fate Mac just simply cried, "They were most precious to me!" The old winding road that leads down to Philly begged me to follow the lights til King Theoden looked me dead in the eyes sayin', "Haven't ya seen enuff o' tha saights?!" So with my back to the world we made a quick stop on Virginia where this group held their keep I announced to my company that they'd seen me enough and agreed they should follow the wind to Helm's Deep

We were coming up the mountain No one not even a hawk in sight The shivering trees were crowding the full moon even all the hawks and a fight There was nothing that could calm her though she went and took me on the rise Soon the valley caught the holler and boomed back echoes of a rambler's cry "Fly to the other even though her lover is some other guy to you Fly to the other show her how a lover shouldn't make a woman blue" Far off into the distance a single light was shinin' on the hill I couldn't help but wonder if someone was lookin' out their window sill She demanded my attention and pointed to the only road she'd have us climb Quicker than a rabbit running I hopped up and dashed on down the mountain side "Fly to the other even though her lover is some other guy to you Fly to the other show her how a lover shouldn't make a woman blue"

I've laid our city's bricks built it's many roofs My hands are thick, strong and steady to clean my grandchild's tush I won't go jumpin' every Sunday but I'll listen in it's entire to our Lady of Angel's sacred hymns in the loft of the local choir On the job I curse and pray I smoke and shoot the bull It's hard work all the time, I know but our bellies must be full You'll never see me off the job covered in dirt and dust My clothing's fit for a president for whom I offer trust Phillies are in the World Series Pavarotti's at the Academy If I could see him and watch the game Carl Sagan would lose his gravity A luxury is so rare like a gemstone so divine It's something to be laying bricks with a crossword thinkin' mind Crowded rowhomes on every block Everybody's poor We live the best with what we got and will never beg for more Yesterday the neighbor died shot his daughter first Talk of the town he lost his mind when his wife found out the worst So as I see these buildings rise pointing ever higher I hope the people workin' in 'em know what was required And as I see these buildings rise pointing with desire I hope the owners and the president still can hear the choir

L'Italiano 02:57

A bird found some luck in my window so it channeled itself out of limbo His intentions were plain burst his feathers and brain to be free from his soon-to-be widow A whipporwill discovered defiance Singing a prayer for the violence The lion and the bear ran away scared knowing their plans lost their silence Another two birds weren't free for the parasites snuck in with ease Their antennas and strings controlled the birds' wings smashing them into the trees Some birds want to be left alone but some falcons have 'em all to their own Couple claws to the breast keeps 'em working for rest flying wherever they're blown An eagle a fox and a cat replacing the old autocrats want to see the bird's fate on their porcelain plates for attempting to pity the rats He couldn't determine his space through the hard rain a-pounding his face He soon lost his glide and fell towards the tides leaving us a nightmare to trace

There once was a man named, Manco Mae, who sailed the ocean blue He said to his lady, darling love, "Honey, I'll be back for you!" With a ship and a crew of gambling men he bid the coast farewell No wave was gonna rock his merchant mind not with all his dogs to sell For six wicked days they held their own and kept the ship on the rise 'Til a strange, pearly whale with a thousand scars Never let escape their cries For one hundred days the dogs ripped the flesh and used its' bones for a fire The whale didn't moan at a single cut never did it bleed or tire One day Manco wrote to his darling love, "Come live in the whale with me!" He waited to hear the whale take a breath knowing he could reach the sea

Way out in Reno, Nevada where romance blooms and fades twas a great Philadelphia lawyer making love to a Hollywood maid "Come, love, and we'll go a-ramblin' down where the lights are so bright. I'll win you a divorce from your husband and we can get married tonight." Wild Bill was a gun-totin' cowboy, ten notches were carved in his gun and all the boys around Reno left Wild Bill's maiden alone As Bill approached the window two shadows were drawn in the shade Twas the great Philadelphia lawyer making love to his Hollywood maid The night was still like the desert The moon hanging high overhead Bill listened awhile at the window he could hear every word that he said "Your hands are pretty and lovely, your form - so rare and divine. Come go with me to the city and leave this wild cowboy behind" Now tonight back in old Pennsylvania amongst the beautiful pines Twas one less Philadelphia lawyer in old Philadelphia tonight

What is time worth to you if all you do is fuck around? Why's the brick that's curved your spine cemented on you like a crown? And who's gonna pat it day and night if the witness can't see the idiot brightenin' up from feeling so fucking proud? Oh, my goodness! Oh, my God! I'll put a thousand grand on annihilation now even out my odds! I'm not one to talk like this but boy I've turned into a thinker I drink and drink and cling some more to the bones of my middle finger I was told by my friends on a whim that I make the big seem bigger whenever they get the sense that I'm triggered Oh, my goodness! Oh, my God! I'll put a thousand grand on annihilation now even out my odds! Some day soon you'll be gone and all your bones'll be inspected Center stage at the Mutter Museum will give the people good protection You were sold from the very beginning on the shiny fruit tree growin' uncontrolled inside the gates of connection Oh, my goodness! Oh, my God! I'll put a thousand grand on annihilation now even out my odds!

The talons were out in Minneapolis and the Eagles were strikin' deep in the guts of a captain and his patriots who were never gonna fall asleep The bossman, Doug, screamin' large said, "Nick, drop 'em a brick!" They stacked it on the killin' line and weighed 'em with the heaviest trick It once was the Philly, Philly now the Philly Special Let it roll on over to Boston as it runs It once was the Philly, Philly now the Philly Special Fly, Eagles, Fly to the sun Nick went yellin' at the birds up front movin' to the right of the pack Jason snapped to Corey on the run pitchin' it to Trey in the back Torey open deep in the zone turned 'em all to scrambled eggs Trey threw it right to Nick who caught it for the upper leg It once was the Philly, Philly now the Philly Special Let it roll on over to Boston as it runs It once was the Philly, Philly now the Philly Special Fly, Eagles, Fly to the sun Another half of another fight took them all to town 'til the whistle blew the end of the night and all the Eagles touched the ground The Lombardi trophy hit the air and everybody hit the sky Our city shook the United States everybody jumped and cried It once was the Philly, Philly now the Philly Special Let it roll on over to Boston as it runs It once was the Philly, Philly now the Philly Special Fly, Eagles, Fly to the sun
